this is a journey of self-discovery and exploration of that which takes my mind beyond the mundane thoughts of everyday life.

Hello, I am a biomedical engineering student at Florida International University. I plan to continue my academic career in medical school, where I plan to do an MD-PhD Degree Program. I am focused on the research and understanding of autism spectrum disorder as well as therapeutic options for patients within the spectrum. As part of my undergraduate degree, I am experienced with academic-level mathematics, transport, modeling, simulations, human physiology, and other areas in the biomedical engineering field.

I am also passionate about photography, and I use a 35 mm Leica film camera to capture the world around me. I started my journey by photographing the streets of Miami and Cuba. After that, I worked on nighttime photography, and lately, I have been exploring the American culture and way of life through photographic mediums.

Created to document my journey as I try to find my way through life. The site consists of 2 main sections, a photographic collections and academic publications. The latter is made of projects at different educational levels, starting from high school and most recently projects associated with biomedical engineering and science/medicine.

There are sections regarding the investigation of various topics, including the importance of computation in the 21st century, philosophy for everyday life, the exploration of different programming languages, and much more that shall develop appropriately with time. This site is dynamic since life does not allow for true equilibrium, for the only moment when we are at true equilibrium is the moment we cease to live. Until then, the exploration of the world and the intricacies of existence must be of significant priority.
