Biomedical engineer and translational innovator holding an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. from Florida International University. My work centers on the design, prototyping, and regulatory development of medical devices targeting complex and underserved health conditions - with particular emphasis on regenerative medicine, neurodevelopmental disorders, and neuromuscular diseases.
As CEO of ARDIG Technologies Inc., I lead cross-disciplinary teams that advance early-stage concepts into functional prototypes and navigate design verification and pre-regulatory pathways. Through ARDIG Corp., I have directed international initiatives integrating biomedical engineering with regenerative medicine practice in collaboration with clinical partners across Latin America.
Beyond engineering, I pursue photography as a parallel discipline of observation. Working with a 35mm Leica film camera, I document the streets of Miami and Cuba, urban nightscapes, and the quiet textures of American life - an ongoing visual exploration that informs how I see both systems and people.
This site serves as a living portfolio - part professional archive, part intellectual journal. It is organized into two primary collections: photographic work and academic publications spanning biomedical engineering, medical device development, and translational research.
Additional sections explore computation, philosophy, and emerging technologies. The content evolves deliberately; a static site would misrepresent a practice built on continuous inquiry. What appears here reflects both completed work and directions still being pursued.
